Could Candice Be Released? Nah!
May 7th, 2008
The release of premier diva Torrie Wilson may send some mixed signals to fans of Candice Michelle. Torrie was released due to her health and forced retirement from competing in the ring and with that in mind, one has to think if Candice Michelle could be following the same plight.
If you compare both, the only difference is the degree of the injury that they sustained. Many say that Candice’ injury is quite delicate and that it may go as far as hitting her overall health. She may aggravate the injury if she would incur the same infraction again but that is just it, she still has one last hurrah before she can survey what her real path towards wrestling is.
With that in mind, could Candice be released as well if her health continues to be what it is now? Torrie was not a liability to the WWE. She is among the tops stars together with Candice Michelle. She will be a superstar in any show but with the need to live up to its billing as wrestling entertainment, what can the WWE do with divas who cannot provide the right type of entertainment in their payroll.
Candice Michelle is a certified celebrity. If released, she will not lose anything but her wrestling career. But outside the WWE, she has a ready career in modeling which may even appraise as she continues to rise in ratings. So would the WWE release her? I don’t think so!
