In what was supposed to be another banner year for Candice Michelle, 2008 has certainly not been friendly for her. She finished off 2007 on the sidelines and while she tried to get back into action this year, she finds herself in the sidelines once again no thanks to the accident (again) she got while competing in a match on RAW.

Worst, this has caused her to miss Wrestlemania, the very same event that placed her into the history books when she first captured the women’s championship last year. In what was expected to be the dream comeback, her injury pave the way for the ultimate nightmare, forcing her to get surgery and completely erasing her out of the scheduled Bunnymania match with Maria Kanellis.

If you are in her shoes, you can do nothing but look at the bright lights and keep on wishing. When is the injury bug going to end. You can also expect Candice to be out of the ring longer this time. Her injury is for real and if she is not careful, she may end up aggravating it and perhaps even consider retirement at such a young age.

Retirement is the last thing on Candice Michelle’s mind but if your body cannot withstand the pounding anymore, you are left with no other choice. You can take your hats off and salute these people. But if your health is on the line, you just have to make the right call even if it is the hard one and something you least like to do.
