Candice Michelle should be most likely flashing a wide grin these days. With Summerslam coming up in the next WWE pay-per-view, guess what? She has been relegated to a viewer rather than being in the matches scheduled for that night. It seems that there has been no single worthy opponent that can stand up to Candice as of late. Thus, divas have been put into focus, a divas battle royal, to determine a worthy opponent for the reigning women’s champion.

But the list of participants are not pushovers. In fact, Candice can even attest to the fact that there are 3 to 4 divas there that could once again give her tough competition. Topping the list is of course the former women’s champion Melina who has been struggling to get back into the groove. Then there is Beth Phoenix who is expected to make her run as well.

Most of these heel superstars have given Candice a tough fight some months back and here they are again, trying to get the best opportunity for a rematch. So the question is, who will get that next crack? Melina seems to be a favorite to top it all off and the same goes for Beth Phoenix. These two are expected to form an alliance and if WWE tradition will be followed, there will be traitors before the battle royal ends.

My forecast? It will either be a Melina or Beth Phoenix finale with the winner surely earning another unlikely enemy. For Candice Michelle, well she is sitting pretty and yawning until the whole thing has been settled.
