One by one the next potential adversaries of Candice Michelle have been cropping up. But make no mistake about it; she is not being intimidated at all. In fact, this has pushed her more to work doubly harder to hang on to the gold around her waist, a prize to which she worked hard and illustriously for.

One by one, new names outside former champion Melina have entered the fray. Among them include that of Beth Phoenix and a rumored return of Shantelle Taylor. While Phoenix has been known to be a former bodyguard with size, the same holds true for Taylor. However, Taylor has been known to wrestle with the big boys in her past wearing a mask. While there is nothing definite yet, her entry into the mix promises to put up a notch the WWE women’s title.

Regardless, Candice isn’t fazed one bit and is determined to prolong her reign as women’s champion and leave behind a legacy in the same way that former champions such as Lita and Trish Stratus have done so in the past.

The road towards retaining the title though will surely be bumpy as all divas in the WWE want the coveted prized to go with their list of accomplishments. If Candice did it through determination and commitment, for sure this will serve as a guide to make them do the same.

Many are still in doubt with regards to what Candice can do. This is the way she likes it, being the underdog and buck the odds showing heart above all.
