At last Monday’s RAW; it was evident that all eyes were on Candice Michelle since she is the new women’s champ. Melina had a match against Maria which the former won. But the real sidelight was after the match where Melina backed off Candice on the wall, obviously showing some bad blood left between them ever since their last meeting at Vengeance. However, as always, Candice got the advantage over Melina and fought back, leaving Melina again on the losing end.

Now this event alone tells a lot. What gives? Will we see a rematch for the women’s title soon? Or is this rivalry escalating once again. Everyone may recall that the personal and professional issue between these two divas was believed to be settled at Vengeance. But basing it on Melina’s actions, she doesn’t seem to be too comfortable leaving everything as it is for now. Besides, who else would be at the top of the line when it comes to challenging Candice for the title?

Now Candice must not let her guard down. She worked her way to the title and hopefully she retains that work ethic. Candice cannot afford to settle down and let the issue go out of proportions. Her stature as women’s champion is too critical at this point and if she is not careful, she may end up losing it without notice. Hence, Candice should continue her daily routine in keeping fit and opening the room for further skills improvement if she wants to retain the title and leave a legacy in the women’s division of the WWE.
